The Early Days

The first two weeks of the puppy's life a critical. First and foremost, to make sure pups are latching and gaining. Then from days 3-16, we follow Early Neurological Stimulation protocol as well as Early Scent Introduction. These give the puppies their very first stimulus and help prime their nervous system.

Family Dogs

My puppies are raised in my bedroom for the first few weeks then move to the kitchen/family room to the weaning pen where they have a front and center seat to all the goings-on in the house. They are socialized with my adult dogs, our cat, my husband, our kids, and others. They learn all the sounds of of a busy household.

Enrichment

We follow Puppy Culture protocols for socialization and introducing experiences and enrichment. Through these protocols, the puppies learn how to recover quickly and appropriately from startling new experiences, they learn to problem solve, offer behaviors, and to confidently approach something new.

Career Prep

Our puppies are exposed to training and experiences that are useful for what they will do with their new families. Our puppies learn "how to learn"; they will know sit, down, and will have several agility-related experiences by the time they head home. They travel with me to dog events to see, smell, and hear all that goes on.
